Let’s play a word game using Onomatopoeia!
First, we need to know what Onomatopoeia is;
Onomatopoeia refers to the use
of words which sound like the noise
they refer to. ‘Hiss’, ‘buzz’, and ‘rat-a-tat-tat’ are examples of
onomatopoeia.

So, I will give you a sentence/ statement and your
challenge is to select an onomatopoeia word that relates to them.
For example;
1/ Someone is waiting for the door to be answered.
Ok so now you need to think what action would they
have taken if they are waiting for the door to be opened? And then what
onomatopoeia word would fit.
Answer- Knocking/ banging

2/ A horse out for a walk
3/ A dog answering another dog
4/ A mouse talking
5/ A pig saying hi to its neighbour
6/ An angry cat
7/ A woman walking in high heels
8/ Someone clearing their throat
9/ A witch laughing
10/ A lion yawning

variations to these answers so if yours don’t match exactly don’t worry ? When
